Some things this handsomeface has said recently...

(While carrying a large frame) "I don't want to play puzzles. I want to play strong."

"I peepee on my leg, can you clean it off, Daddy? I don't want peepee on my leg or it will ruin my leg and I won't have a leg anymore." 

(While on the potty, trying to go #2) "The poopies are taking a rest. Daddy says to relax."

(While on the potty, trying to go #1) "I hope the peepees aren't too busy to come out. I wonder what they're doing. Maybe they're at the playground."

(While watching the big construction vehicles from his window)"Mommy, look! They're movin dirt! ...  (Suddenly turns sullen) "I wish I can grow up."

"Hey! Hay is for horses! (Mommy replies, and "Aidans are for mommies") 

"Yes and Daddies are for work."

"Sometimes I'm a nice big brother....sometimes I'm not.

Cars cars and MORE cars

Lately, our Saturday mornings have started off by making various car "snakes" in the play room. We always have a fun, silly time doing this!

Pookie Pancake!

Aidan loves this book. 

In it, Little Pookie gets a special Pookie pancake on his birthday... So we decided to make one ourselves!

The Best Age

No question about it.

The conversations we have with Aidan these days are priceless.

His kindness, imagination, and energy I am envious of on a daily basis.

He is helpful, he understands almost anything, and yet he is still so innocent.

Yes.. 3 is the best age. And we are so happy to celebrate it!
