Poem to my second big boy!

FOUR...

Endless energy, silliness for miles, four years filled with the best big smiles. 

You're growing up so fast, yet your sweetness remains, I know your youthful heart will never change. 

Superheroes and monsters, imagination and fibs, never a dull moment, always so much to give. 

Your excitement for the little things makes me smile each day. Your gasps and gratitude create such joy always. 

You are my Gavin Patrick, my mini-me, my charming little boy, I can't wait to see who you'll be!

Poem to my first son

My Aidan… 

Toothless grin, running hugs, 6 1/2 years filled with so much to love. 

My first son, you made me a mother, an amazing gift I treasure like no other. 

Bird expert, animal lover, and above all the best big brother. 

You make my heart high, my soul soar, and when I think you can't get any better, you give me even more. 

Compassionate and caring, fun but sensitive, you are often the best reminder of how we should live. 

You are my Aidan, my pride and my joy, I love you to the moon and back, my beautiful big boy.

Gavin goes to school!

Needless to say this newly-turned 4 year old was VERY excited to get to go to school like his big brother. No nervousness, no tears on that first day's parting. Just smiles all around. He may be the youngest, shortest boy in his class, but what he lacks in age and height he more than makes up for in pure charm and creativity! 😁 

We love Gavin's teachers and Red Lion Christian Academy. Aidan and now Gavin love going preschool and I know a big part of that is because how caring and commited everyone is who works there.  We feel very lucky we found this place for our children's first exposure to "real" school!
