Aidan AND Gavinisms

Aidan
While Aidan and I were hugging each other, he said. "We're marrying!"

What Aidan calls Frankenstein... "Frankenstyle"

While Aidan looked at his Mayflower craft from school... "Mommy what's this again? The Flower Blossom?"

"Mommy, did you know that the Pilgrims spanked God?" (Aidan, I think you mean that they THANKED God) "No, I'm pretty sure they spanked him."

Gavin
After I coughed- You ok, mom?

Batman and Robin

These caped crusaders fought crime and collected candy through the streets of Belden. Here's a look at our dynamic duo this Halloween!

Hurricane Sandy

We were VERY fortunate that Hurricane Sandy only caused us 24 hours of lost power. We thought we were going to get hit the worst, and our hearts are still with all of those so severely affected in New Jersey.

Being forced to stay indoors for the entirety of the weekend, half of which was spent with no power, one thing is for sure- we had to be creative! Here are some snapshots of how we spent those dark and stormy days (entirely in our pajamas).

Sharing the iPad via LED candlelight. :)

Look closely- in "Tow Mater's Garage" lies Rainbow, the hermit crab.

Lollipops and Hermit crab goodtimes.

Gassing up at their basement speedway

And they're off!

5th Annual Costume Party

It was another successful costume party at the Calveys'. Thanks to all who made it such a fun night!

Franken-puddings

So proud of my owl cupcakes. :)

Candycorn pizza

Is it wrong that as the parents, we were the villains?

Most Creative Award goes to the Brazills for their Tom Cruise portrayal!

Great costumes as always by the Colatrianos- equally great photo bomb by Robin, too. ;-)

Harley Ryan with his youngest son, Captain America.

The night wouldn't have been complete without some Robin/Tom Cruise love!

"No catwoman- you're bad!"

"Okay okay, let's join forces for good." :)

The kiddos!

Trick-or-treat time

The youngest attendees... obviously having a blast.

After 3 cosmos, Megan found herself in the Halloween spirit after all. ;-)
