Our 2013 Chicago Adventure

We are so happy that we've averaged visiting the DeCostanzas and the Windy City a little over once/year for several years now. And the reason for this year's trip was a wonderful one, with the duty of Kevin as Godfather for the Baptism of little Gabriel. This was also a momentous trip because as Gavin would say, we went on a "car adventure" instead of flying. And while Carrie was pretty nervous about the 13 hour road trip, we are happy to say that everything went as smooth as could be. Thanks to the Minivan and McDonalds playplaces, we may actually attempt this again some day. :)

We had a wonderful visit with the entire DeCostanza clan, grandparents included! The kids had a great time playing, and we had a great time just being with all of you! We treasure every moment our families get to spend together, and hope it's not long before we do it again.
